About Me

Hello there! I graduated from Wright State University – Lake Campus in 2008, earning an Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer-Aided Drafting & Design Technology.


Originally drawn to architectural design, I switched gears to Mechanical Design due to the limitations of 2D design software. Since then, I've been a full-time Mechanical Designer specializing in Automation & Custom Machine Design, particularly in robotic welding & fixturing, and robotic material handling.


Hailing from a small town in rural Darke County, Ohio, I still call it home, living here with my wife and three young children. Growing up on a cash grain farm alongside my father ignited my mechanical mindset. Carpentry is another passion; it started as a high school hobby and evolved into my design company, K & N Design, LLC, established in 2018.


To bridge my design gaps, I use my skills to craft and sell wood projects. Every design is meticulously planned using my software, ensuring accurate material calculations and precise execution. I've even designed accessories for my compact tractor, and you can expect to see them on the site soon.


What makes my products stand out? Not only do you receive comprehensive build plans, but you also get detailed material lists for each project. As I continue to expand, more plans will be added, so feel free to reach out with any specific requests!
